Minister of Defence His Excellency Mohammed Badaru Abubakar CON, mni has re-assured that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration will continue to equip and train Officers and Men of the Armed Forces to enhance their combat readness .
The Minister gave the assurance while addressing Officers and Men of Operation Hadarin Daji at the 213 Forward Operating Base, Katsina, on monday 3rd June 2024 during his official maiden visit to the base in Katsina.
He Stated that President Tinubu’s administración has recorded tremondous successes in the fight against insurgency and other related crimes in the country.
Alhaji Badaru Abubakar commanded the Nigerian Armed Forces for their continue sacrifice and Patroticism and urged them to maintain the tempo.
The Minister stated that, he was fully breifed about the troops performance and assured that all needed supoort will be provided to discharge their constitutional mandate of depending the Sovereignty and integrity of the Nation.
The Defence Minister used the opportunity to extend President Bola Tinubu’s heartfelt sympathy over the recent touching and tragic death of Combatant soldiers in Abia state assuring that the culprits will be traced and brought to Justice.
Responding the Commanding Air Component 213 Forward Operation Hadarin Daji Katsina Air Comodore G I Jibia appreciated the Minister’s which he saíd has further boost the moral of the troops.
Earlier,the Minister has held an interective discusion with the Officers and Men of the Headquarters of the 17 Brigade of the Nigerian Army and Sector 2 Joint Task Force Operation Hadarin Daji Katsina.
