The State Commandant of the Corps in Zamfara State Command, Commandant Muhammad Bello Muazu records another milestone in the fight against insecurity and vandals in Zamfara State by establishing an outpost station at kagara Area Development Council under Talata Mafara local Government Area.
The outpost station which was made possible by the district head of Kagara was commissioned on the 22nd February 2023 by the command’s head of Administration Deputy Commandant Ibrahim Yakubu Dauda who represented the State Commandant.
In his speech, Commandant Muhammad Bello Muazu opined that, the establishment of the outpost is a product of necessity given the vulnerability of Kagara Area Development Council and environs to insecurity and brigandage.
MB Muazu posits that, NSCDC has deemed it fit to be closer to the civil populace in order to combat crime and vandalism at the grassroots.
He enjoined the members of the Kagara community to avail the Corps all the needed support to enable the Corps serve them better.
Meanwhile, the Garkuwa Kagara, Alh. Aliyu Mohammed who spoke on behalf of the district head of Kagara, reiterated that , Kagara community is overwhelmed with joy to see their dreams come true.
He said that, for a very long time ago , the community had craved for the presence of civil Defence officers in their locality.
Alh Aliyu however reiterated the resolve and willingness of the community members to give maximum support to the Corps in order to ensure their smooth conducts.
He said to this end, the community has donated a plot of land where the permanent edifice will be erected for the Corps via communal efforts.
