CHRISTIAN ORGANIZATION APPEAL FOR A VOICE IN ZAMFARA STATE

A Christian organisation in zamfara state has appealed for a voice to Christians in zamfara state, the call was made by Dr Joel’s Abaver the Executive Director (CHRIVAZ) Christian voice initiative and awareness of zamfara state during a courtesy call on the Secretary to the state government on Thursday 5/9/2024.
According to Dr Joel’s Abaver the Christians in zamfara state is seeking the assistance of the state government among other things appealed that they should be carried along in area of political appointment, the repairs of the deplorable condition of Christian burial sites in the state pointing out that the cemetery in Gusau the state capital is already overstretched there is the need for a new site to be allocated.
Dr Joel’s Abaver who presented an action plan to the Secretary to the state government assured that the organisation would partner and support the current administration in actualising it’s rescue mission.
The Secretary to the state government Alh Abubakar Nakwada in his response thanked the organisation for the timely visit and assured that all the issues raised would be looked into by the state government. He however called for a detailed comprehensive situation of all Christian cemeteries in the state to enable his office present it to the Governor.
On the issue of political appointment Nakwada assured that the matter would be forwarded to the Governor for necessary action.
He stated that zamfara state government is poised to having partnership with any genuine organisation in the state.The further disclosed that the action plan would be carefully studied and see were the state government would key Inn, assuring that partnership with such a religious organazation is paramount and worthy.
