The Kaduna state Secretary to the state government, Dr Abdulkadir Muazu Meyere, has reiterated his commitment to support Governor Uba Sani administration through effective coordinating his government activities and programmes.
Dr Muazu Meyere made the pledged during the 2026 budget defence excises held at the Kaduna state house of assembly complex in Kaduna.
According to the Meyere, the budget defence excises is normal constitutional requirements that the executive can’t spends public funds unless the funds are appropriated, and it’s the only law lays to is the state assembly responsibility to approved.
“as everyone know that the SSG office don’t have the capital budget, it’s the office that’coordinate the holes of government and managing the cabinet.”
Speaking during the budget defence, the Commissioner ministryfor local government and Chieftaincy affairs, Sadiq Mamman Legas, said the 2026 budget ministry estimate is about N4.3 billions.
The Commissioner however explained that, the main priority oo the budget is make sure the welfare of staff,their salaries which the governor increased to 72,000 minimum wage, also to ensure due process for every things concerning the activities of the government.
He also noted that, the issues concerning the local government autonomy is very critical, because it’s constitutional issues,even the supreme court judgement would not guaranteed in the implementation of autonomy.

Also addressing the newsmen’s after a closedoor budget defence, the Commissioner ministry of internal security, Barrister Sule Shaibu SAN, said ” with the governor Uba Sani effort on insecurity bedevilling the state and north western zone.
The state governor launched the Kaduna Peace Model that’s made impacts positively, some states in zone caming to Kaduna to learn from our security architecture.
The senior advocate of Nigeria,further calls on the good peoples of Kaduna state to continued given support and cooperation to Uba Sani administration.
Also speaking the Commissioner of Information, Kaduna state, Honourable Ahmed Mai Yaki expressed that, despite the Ten years of non existence by the ministry, the next year budget would focus in looking to how we can leverage the tissue of our cultural perspective in the state.
And making sure that we put Kaduna state in global map I terms of global competitiveness.
