The Kaduna state house of assembly member representing Zaria constituency, also the Chairman house committee on education, Barrister Mahmud Lawal Ismaila, has assured the Kaduna state citizens that each and every childs would be given quality education.
Considered the Governor Uba Sani passioned and priority given to education sector in the 2026 appropriations bills allocated to the sector by providing Twenty Five percent of the budget.
Barrister Mahmud Lawal made the assurance while interviews with Assembly media crew, at the end of budget defence exercises by ministry of educations and other related organisation, recently held at Assembly complex in Kaduna.
The deputy Chief whip however, noted that, inline with the provisions of 2026 budget on education, the state government focused on having qualitative education, from renovation to construction of new schools in both basic and post basic, also in the state tertiary institutions.
Barrister Bola Ege, also reveals that, ” theres peovisions for recruitment for Thirty Thousands teachers and lecturers, and the implementation of new salary structure of our tertiary institutions in the next year budget.
While addressing the news men’s, the Commissioner of education, Professor Emeritus Abubakar Sambo, praised the Governor Uba Sani for his track to salvage the problems on educational sector in the state.
He however explained that, the 2026 budget will focuses on the problems affecting Technical and Conventional education, and the issue of digital skills which the worldwide moving such direction.
“thirdly getting more prominent on issue of entrepreneurship, our students need to inculcated.”
The Managing Director Kaduna state road agency (KADRA), Dr Abdullahi Baba Ahmad, said “the 2026 fiscal budget is an inclusion that covered all the Twenty Three local government areas will benefit for road network.
He also noted that, the Eighty Seven billions allocated to the agency covered the completion of inherited roads projects, new innitiated and approved roads construction and the road under construction or started.
Also the Rector Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic Zaria, Engineer Dr Mohammed Kabir Abdullahi, hails the legislatures for their very upon and practical exercises of the budget defence.
