APC Support Groups Held Mega Rally In Birnin Kebbi

APC various support groups and organizations in Kebbi sate have held a mega rally in Birnin Kebbi this Monday to affirm support to the candidacy of APC Presidential Candidate, Ahmad Bola Tinubu, the State APC Governorship candidate, Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, the APC Senatorial Candidate for Kebbi Central incumbent Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu as well as APC candidates at all levels in this year’s general elections.
The rally was also to motivate, garner and solicit support from voters towards ensuring total victory for the APC at the polls.
Multitude of speakers at the gathering were emphatic about the credible performance of the APC in human development and economic growth of the nation under President Muhammadu Buhari at the federal level and Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu at state level.
After the opening prayer, beseeching God for his Mercy and Bounty by Mallam Aliyu Yahya Jega, a Special Assistant to the Governor, Hon. Abdulrahman Manga who ascended the podium, predicted massive victory for the APC in the coming elections as antecedent of present government has shown a cheerful period for Nigerians throughout the tenure of the administration to date.
Speaking on behalf of all groups and organisations, former National Youth Leader, North-West, Mallam Sadiq Fakai, made it clear that the gathering was to express solidarity and support to all APC candidates in this year’s election to coast to victory.
Mallam Sadiq Fakai explained that the unity rally among all associations of APC support groups was designed to consolidating togetherness as prelude to triumph at the forthcoming elections.
The youth leader was delighted about the glaring record of achievements of the APC at federal and state levels taking into cognizance the socio-economic wellbeing of the citizenry.
He described Kebbi state as wholly APC enclave, urging youths, as source and foundation for development to tread nooks and crannies of the state to solicit for votes for the party at the polls.
Mallam Sadiq Fakai pointed out that the APC administration under President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has empowered youths, both males and females, through job placement and employment as well as social intervention schemes which enabled them to engage in commercial ventures and entrepreneurship.
He also cited infrastructural development by incumbent government such as the revival of railway services and the reconstruction of the Sokoto – Jega – Yauri – Kontagora road that led to higher economic prosperity for the nation.
Specifically in Kebbi state, Mallam Sadiq Fakai talked about the regular power supply being enjoyed by residents in the state that was made possible by Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu which facilitated economic growth and rapid industrialization as manifested in the establishment of modern world-class rice mills and tomato processing factory.
Furthermore, the agricultural revolution embarked upon by the administration has made Nigeria to be self-sufficient in rice production thereby eliminating import of the commodity into the country while Kebbi state has become the rice hub of the nation.
Mallam Sadiq Fakai said in the interest of fairness, northerners should vote massively for the APC presidential flag-bearer, Ahmad Bola Tinubu, who gave his backing to President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015 that paved way for the victory of the APC.
Similarly, he described the Kebbi state APC gubernatorial candidate, Dr. Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu, as a benefactor to the people of the state known for his philanthropy, loyalty to the government and a professional teacher who cherished educational development.
Likewise, he described Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu as a monumental achiever, who performed remarkably excellent in all sectors of human endeavour that deserved the votes of people of Kebbi Central to return to the senate in the coming polls.
Other speakers at the rally were the state acting APC Youth Leader, Hon. Nasiru Magaji, the Chairman, APC Media Campaign Committee, Alhaji Kabiru Sani Giant, Ubandawakin Diggi, Mallama Aisha Ibrahim Magawata who spoke on behalf of the Wife of the Governor, Dr. Zainab Shinkafi Bagudu, Mallama Yar Sarki Jakadiyar Gidan Kaura, and State Chairman, APC Elders’ Forum, Alhaji Sani Hukuma Zauro, Zannan Gwandu.
The list also include Alhaji Adamu Mudi Augie, representatives of Miyetti Allah, Market Traders, various Kaura Support Groups, National Union of Kebbi State Students, NUKESS and Yoruba group.
Unanimously, they affirmed readiness to work towards the victory of all APC candidates at Federal and State levels in the scheduled general elections this year.
Addressing the gathering at the APC Campaign Office in Birnin-Kebbi, the Chairman Kebbi Media Directorate, APC Presidential Campaign Council PCC, who is the Special Adviser on Media to the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Sarki, told the large crowd of supporters that, the event was tailored to drum-up support to the APC Presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, the amiable Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, as Senator Kebbi Central, the State APC Gubernatorial candidate, Dr. Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu and other candidates of the party at all levels.
Alhaji Yahaya Sarki solicited for massive support to the party towards ensuring total victory at the polls.
The Special Adviser said Bola Tinubu has good record of transforming Lagos in all sectors when he was the governor of the state, while Senator Atiku Bagudu has distinguished himself as an astute politician and administrator with impressive landmark in socio-economic development of Kebbi State.
Alhaji Yahaya Sarki advised all eligible voters to collect their permanent voter’s card and vote for APC for renewed hope and change with vigor.
