The acting president (NURTW) National union of road transport Workers who doubles as the south east vice president Chief Anthony Ewa assume duty at the National Headquarters Abuja on Monday 14/October 2024
He was appointed by the National leadership to oversee the affairs of the Union while the Acting President Alh Isa Aliyu Ore and BOT Chairman, the regional Chairman Alh Najeem Usman Yasin and other National officers who are on foreign trip to Morroco attending (ITF) International Transport Federation Congress along side with other Unions Globally.
Chief Anthony Ewa thanked the National leadership for availing him the opportunity to oversee the affairs of the Union, He called on the staff and senior officers to support him during his short stay in office.
He stated that his immediate focus would be on strengthening unity and moving the Union to a greater height. He was later conducted round the various departments at the National Headquarters by the Deputy general secretary Comrade Frank Uchehara and the National Treasure Alh Bello Maduganari.
