The Ahmadu Bello University of Zaria has appointed Professor Aliyu Yahaya as the new Director of Arewa House “Centre for Historical and research development Kaduna.
Professor Aliyu Yahaya has became the Twelves director of the centre after succeeded, Professor Salisu Bala, whose ruled the centre for Seven Months and was the Eleven director of the house.
Before his appointment as new director, professor Yahaya was the director distance learning centre ABU Zaria.
He’s awarded as Professor in political science in 2019, after he was first appointed as graduate assistance in 2001at department of political science, he studied was combined honour on history/political science for first, second and third degrees respectively at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria.
Speaking with newsmen’s after the official handover, Professor Aliyu Yahaya, promised to continued execution projects started from the previous directors, also promised to priories the staffs welfare for better service environment.
He however revealed his administration commitment to partner with Nineteenth Northern governors for training of staffs and infrastructural development of the centre.
The out going director Professor Salisu Bala, appreciate the management of Ahmadu Bello university for given him prevellege and opportunity to ruled the centre for seven months as the director.
He also congratulated new director Professor Aliyu Yahaya for his appointment, and prayed God almighty to protection and guidance throughout his tenure of duties.
“I thanks my fellows workers for support and co operation given to me, also reiterated his commitment to assist the new director at any given time to success of his leadership.”
