The correspondent’s chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, zamfara state council has set up contact and mobilization committee to ensure effective coverage of the 2027 general election
Speaking during the inauguration ceremony at the chapel’s office in Gusau, the chairman of the chapel who also chairs the committee comrade Ishaq Zaki Tambuwal said the committee became necessary in order to give every political party or their candidates equal opportunity to assess journalists to tell their menofestoes to the public and also have response from the general public.
He further said no political party or candidates would be left out in the arrangements and assures politician of equal opportunity.
He thanks members of the correspondent’s chapel for the support and cooperation they have been given to the leadership of the chapel and charge them to redouble their efforts as 2027general is approaching.
Comrade Ishaq Zaki Tambuwal called on the voters to make a wise decision while voting for their candidates of their choice.
