From Hussaini Yero, Funtua
The Senatorial Candidate of the Allied People’s Movement (APM) for Katsina South Senatorial District (Funtua Zone), Hon. Hassan Muhammad Daudawa, has expressed confidence that the APM will win the 2027 general elections in Katsina State.
Hon. Daudawa stated this in an interview with journalists in Funtua.
According to him, Nigerians, particularly the people of Katsina State, are tired of what he described as the oppressive rule of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), which has brought untold hardship to the citizens.
He lamented that insecurity has overwhelmed the state, with villagers being displaced from their ancestral homes, bandits stopping farming and herding activities, schools closed, and government failing to provide adequate security, welfare and development for the people.
“Our people can no longer go to their farms, our schools are shut, our villages are being sacked daily, yet the government shows no serious effort to address these challenges,” Daudawa said.
The APM Senatorial candidate assured that if elected to represent Katsina South in the Senate, he will prioritize security, education, and human capital development of the Funtua Zone.
He described himself as a true grassroots politician who has lived among his people for years, understands their pains, and knows how to provide practical solutions to their problems.
“I’m not a stranger to my people. I live with them, I share in their pains, and I know exactly what needs to be done to bring relief and development,” he added.
Hon. Daudawa further called on the electorate not to repeat what he termed the mistake of 2014, when the people rejected the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the APC, a decision he said has plunged the country into its present difficulties.
He therefore urged citizens to vote massively for the APM at all levels Presidential, Senatorial, House of Representatives, Governorship and State House of Assembly for a secured and prosperous Nigeria.
