The Zamfara State Ministry of Commerce, Tourism and Industries has organised a one-day stakeholders’ meeting with members of the business community to discuss challenges affecting businesses in the state and explore opportunities for investment, trade and industrial development.
The meeting brought together key stakeholders from the business community and was aimed at strengthening collaboration between the government and the private sector, while developing practical recommendations for creating a more conducive business environment in Zamfara State.
Speaking at the meeting, the Commissioner for Commerce, Tourism and Industries, Hon. Tasi’u Musa Shinkafi, assured stakeholders that the administration of Governor Dauda Lawal is committed to supporting businesses and strengthening engagement with the private sector.
The Commissioner said he is committed to fairness, justice and equal treatment for all stakeholders assuring members of the business community that the Ministry would ensure that everyone receives fair consideration in its dealings and activities.
He said the government recognises the important role of the business community in driving economic growth, creating employment opportunities and promoting sustainable development in the state.
The Commissioner further invited stakeholders from across Zamfara State, as well as national and international investors, business organisations and other relevant partners, to participate in the forthcoming Zamfara State Business Summit scheduled for next week.
He explained that the summit would provide a broader platform for stakeholders to deliberate on business opportunities, identify challenges affecting the private sector and develop practical strategies for promoting investment, trade and industrial development in Zamfara State.
He added that traders and entrepreneurs would have the opportunity to showcase their businesses, products and services during the summit, providing greater visibility and opportunities for networking, partnerships and potential investment.
The Commissioner urged all stakeholders to actively participate in the summit and contribute ideas that would strengthen the state’s business environment, promote entrepreneurship and unlock Zamfara State’s economic potential.
