Federal High Court sitting in Gusau presided over by justice Hussain Dikko has fixed 31st August 2027 for Judgement in the case of Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi filed against APC,INEC, and Sahabi Yau for failure to conduct proper APC Senatorial primary for APC Zamfara North Senatorial district.
Speaking to journalists shortly after the court sitting, counsel to the plaintiff Bello Galadi said all the parties have adopted their written addresses.
He expressed optimism that his client could win the case
He expressed confidence that the court could deliver decisive judgement particularly on his client as all the necessary and formidable evidence has been presented to the court
Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi, being one of the APC senatorial candidates of the Zamfara north senatorial primaries had kicked against the result been presented by the APC which was subsequently endorsed by the INEC, disputing the eligibility of the candidacy of Senator Sahabi Ya’u Kaura as been declared the winner.
