Former Governor of Zamfara State and Senator representing Zamfara West Senatorial District, Alhaji Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar (Marafan Sokoto) has congratulated the newly recruited personnel of the Nigerian Army Depot, Zaria on their successful enlistment and passing-out.
Senator Abdulaziz Yari described the recruitment as a milestone in strengthening Nigeria’s security architecture and commended the recruits for answering the call to serve the nation with courage and patriotism.
Speaking shortly after commissioning 92 of the 208 youths from the six local government areas of Zamfara West Senatorial District, the Zonal Coordinator of Senator Yari’s Constituency Offices, Alhaji Sha’ayau Yusuf (Danmalikin Mafara), said the Senator is fully proud of the resilience and courageous actions of the newly recruited youths from his constituency.
The Senator reiterated his unwavering commitment to youth empowerment and the social well-being of his people. He noted that investing in the youth through jobs, skills training, and opportunities in the security sector remains key to reducing restiveness and building a peaceful Zamfara and Nigeria at large.
Senator Yari also expressed satisfaction with the commitment of the present administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, in tackling insecurity across the country. He specifically noted the administration’s bold steps in massive recruitment of Army and other security personnel as a clear sign of its resolve to restore peace and protect lives and property.
He further called on all Nigerians to continue giving the administration of President Bola Tinubu the needed support and cooperation to ensure its policies succeed for the overall benefit of the nation.
