The Zamfara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), under the leadership of CC Sani Mustapha has confirmed the deployment of 643 operational personnel to strengthen security and ensure peaceful Eid celebrations across the state.
The deployment will effectively cover pre, active, and post Eid festival to strategically strengthen security presence at Eid-grounds, the protection of lives and critical infrastructures across the fourteen (14) Local Government Areas (LGA) of the state.
According to a press release issued by the public relations officer of the command, ASCI Umar Muhammad,
the state commandant had directed an extensive operational coverage, discipline, consistency and the display of professionalism from all personnel to achieve peace and order, efficiently.
CC Sani Mustapha reaffirmed that, NSCDC under the distinctive leadership of the Commandant General, Prof. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR, the Corps is committed to deliver on its mandates and that, Zamfara state command will not relent; he reassured the civil populace of the Corps’ resolute obligation of protecting lives, property and critical infrastructure; noting, any perpetrator apprehended shall face the ramifications of his/her action.
The state commandant felicitates and wishes the Muslim faithfuls a successful and fulfilling Eid-ul-Adha celebration, “may the sacrifices and good prayers through the festivities be answered and may the Beneficent grant us everlasting peace”.
