The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Zamfara State Command, has received the Comptroller of Immigration Service (CIS) at its administrative headquarters, Gusau, on a courtesy visit aimed to reinvigorate existing working relations in the state.
The correlation between the two security agencies was emphasised when Comptroller Audi Musa Maisudan had during the visit remarked , “we are here to familiarize, seek collaborative support and establish a harmonious workspace between the two agencies”.
“The NIS and NSCDC are paramilitary institutions under same umbrella mandated to provide national security; in view of the foregoing and security challenges faced, it is essential to strengthen and enhance the work relationship between the two agencies in Zamfara state”.
Summarily, “I wish to request, extensive collaboration, cooperation and support from your noble office”, CIS AM Maisudan concluded.
According to a press release issued by the public relations officer of the command, ASCI Umar Muhammad,
CC Sani Mustapha assured the CIS of the command’s resolved commitment to uphold the 3-Cs, as perpetually magnified by the Commandant General, Prof. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, PhD., mni, OFR, that is to, Collaborate, Cooperate and Coordinate, being the keys to achieving our respective mandates.
The statement added that the commandant reaffirmed the need for continuous collaboration and unending partnership between the agencies to promote the security structure of the state; asserting, the command’s willingness to support and complement the Nigeria Immigration Service where necessary in national assignments “NSCDC is readily available”.
