Katuka football club of Tsafe emerged winner of Zamfara First Lady Football competition 2026 recently concluded, organised by Honourable Mustafa Salisu Musa Kainuwa (Dan Maiki).
Katuka football won the Hajiya Huriyya Dauda Lawaltournament, after beaten Juventus football club of with two goals to nill in the final match encounter, in a crucial Derby match that’s expressed both match officials and spectators.
The final match which recently held at National youth service Corp permanent site, in Tsafe, Tsafe local government of Zamfara state, Nigeria.
Speaking while presenting trophy to the winning team, Honourable Mustafa Salisu Musa Kainuwa (DANMAIKI), pledged to organize “Sallah Rago Cup” for fun and entertainment during the Sallah celebrities.
Dan Maiki however promised to continue sponsoring the youths activities that’s for purpose of diverting the attention of our teaming youths from engaging on illicit drugs abused and others related immoral Acts in the society.
“as ex football player and fan it’s my ambition to continue organizing such tournaments time to time for benefits of improving the talents of our home based players to be well prepared and ready any challenges while trials.”
The Chairman organizing committee for the tournament Ahmed Abdullahi Kwanti, said “the purpose of organizing the competition is to provide unity and bring out talented players that’s unknown and hidden in some areas, villages and town.
He also appreciated the founder for his sacrifices, endurance and commitment on promoting football industry in our respective communities.
