The Senator representing Zamfara Central Senatorial district, Honourable Ikra Aliyu Bilblis has distributed one million Naira and one truck containing Three hundreds bags of food items to internal displaced persons (IDPS),tm whose flee from their respectives communities seeking for shelter amidst the recent rampants bandits attacks.
The Food Items and funds donations was announced before the thousands of IDPs by distinguish Senator, recently at temporary IDPs camp located at the government senior secondary school (SDP) in Tsafe Tsafe local government of Zamfara state.
In his addressed during his visit to the camp, Senator Ikra Aliyu Bilblis, has assured them that, governor Dauda Lawal is making all necessary efforts on security approach tackling the menace of banditry activities and assuring for the returns of peace and stability at their respectives villages.
He however assured them that, with tactical security measure the government planning for, farmers were pledged to cultivate fully for this year farming season.
“we, governor Dauda Lawal and others stakeholders engages in collaborative efforts in seeing the reopening of schools and the children’s in such areas were back to school”.
While addressing the IDPs during the disbursement of Senator donations, the head of the committee, the former Sole administrator Tsafe local government, Honourable Aliyu Adamu Barmo, said “the committee have received twenty four names of the affected communities.
Each community will receive four hundreds thousands Naira, (400,000), and twelve bags of food items which include; ten for guinea corn and two bags of millets.
The outstanding communities that’s haven’t captured would share the remaining 400,000 and 12 bags of food items equally.
The communities include; Kwarin maisaje, Gajin Zama, Rakyabu, Sungawa, Babban Kauye, amongst others.
