A house of assembly member representing Maru / Bungudu federal constituency, Honourable Abdulmalik Zubairu Zannan Bungudu, has donated one hundred bags of rice to internal displaced persons amidst bandits attacks victims of various communities in Tsafe local government area of Zamfara state.
The one hundred bags of rice which handed over to the Tsafe local government Humanitarian Initiative for proper distribution to the victims through the committed established by the house member, recently held at temporary IDPs in Tsafe, Tsafe local government of Zamfara state.
Speaking during the flag of the distribution, the Leader of the delegate, Alhaji Aliyu Lumu, said “the essence of their presence is to hand over the relief materials to displaced households,that’s lefts their villages seeking for shelter, also to ease hardship among victims of insurgency.
The beneficiaries, mostly women’s affected by bandits were communitiies surrounding Tsafe area, also expressed that intervention was part of sustained efforts to support vulnerable families in the Tsafe area affected by insurgency.
Lumun Tsafe however assured the affected communities that governor Dauda Lawal has promised to take a security measure for the returns of peace in their respectives areas.
Also addressing the IDPs, Alhaji Nasuru Lawal Ajakaya, has commended Zannan Bungudu for his smooth response in supporting the displaced people’s in the face of hardship, hunger, and displacement,. what they the need is real, the pain is deep, and the responsibility is for everyone”.
Nasuru Ajakaya, however, Urged the Humanitarian organisation’s to ensure fairness during the distribution s of palliatives to the IDPs.
“it’s sad and painful seeing women’s and children’s suffering and displaced as a results of banditry activities disastrous to our economic, and social well-being of our society.”
Also speaking, the co ordinator the Humanitarian initiatives, Nasuru Mudi, noted that the IDPs were over two thousands , the humanitarian team also once again extended their appreciation for the donations given by the house member.
He however noted, the affected victims are the communities from; l Babban Ƙauye, Kurar Mota, Kibari, Kauyen Kane, Gwanja, Matsuki, Dakolo, Gajin Zama, Gidan Malam, and Kwarin Mai Saje.
” I extend appreciation to all donors, supporters, and well-meaning individuals who contributed, and Urged the general public’s to engage on supporting the IDPs with necessary assistance”.
He further assured the people’s that , the humanitarian team remains committed to sustaining this intervention, and l continue to reach out, to support, and to stand by these vulnerable communities until stability is restored, Insha Allah.
