The Kaduna state government in collaboration with Nigerian Institute of public Relations have organized a one day summit for Kaduna state Traditional Ruler’s Strategic Forum on Traditional Leadership and National stability.
The one day summit which recently held at Banquet Hall, Gen,. Hassan Usman Katsina House, in Kaduna.
The Kaduna state governor Senator Uba Sani, represented by the state commissioner of local government and Chieftaincy affairs, Honourable Saddiq Mamman Lagos, has pledged the state government commitment and determination to liaison with local government Chairmen’s.
for adequate funding of security personnel operations within the Twenty four local governments, for successful conduct of their operations against insurgency amidst the raised of fuels market prices.
On his paper presentation titled ‘The Kaduna Peace Model” The Kaduna state Commissioner for information Alhaji Ahmad Mai yaki, expressed that the traditional rulers were expected to serve as partners in peace building, not just observers.

The guest speaker, the Emir of Birnin Gwari, His royal highness Alhaji Jibril Mai Gwari ll, spoke on the topic, “the traditional rulers as Communication actors; the artchitecture of community relations, peace building, and development
He also noted that, the role as communication anchors is not incidental; it is foundational Kaduna State, through its Peace Model, has taken an important step in recognising this reality.
However, recognition must be followed by institutionalisation, support, and continuous adaptation to changing socio-political conditions.
In his addressed the Emir of Zazzau his royal highness, Ambassador Nuhu Ahmad Bamalli, noted that the task before us is not to romanticise Traditional Leadership, but to rigorously integrate it into contemporary governance in ways that enhance both legitimacy and effectiveness.
He also appreciated the management of National Institute of Public Relations for organizing and hosting a timely gathering in Kaduna state.
