The Kaduna state governor Senator Uba Sani has appealed to individuals and corporate entities to contribute generously in the appeal funds in support of veterans and families of the fallen heroes in Nigeria.
The governor made the appeals during the emblem launching of 2026 Nigerian Armed Force remembrance day celebration, held at Arewa house in Kaduna.
According to the governor, “the Armed forces are integrant to our daily live, they were our neighbors, partners in communities development also were extended families.
Governor Sani however stated that, ” it’s my pleasure to honour the fallen heroes whose made the ultimate sacrificed in defense of our country, and fight for peace in protecting our owned lands, some also defend our safety at home.
“the 2026 armed force remembrance emblem is important to imbibed us to reflect the importance of their sacrificed, courage and patriotism for peace and stability in Nigeria, Africa and the whole world.
In his remarked, the Kaduna state Commissioner ministry of internal security and home affairs, Dr Sule Sha aibu SAN, has described Uba Sani as rescued governor for his commitment to ensured peace building in the state.
He also appreciated the governor for supporting the legions with financial assistance that would enhance their wellbeing.
Earlier in his addressed the acting Chairman Kaduna state chapter of Nigerian Legion, retired Major Baren, has appreciate the historical record breaking as the first governor attended the ceremony.
He thanks the governor and pray him for God peotection and guidance.
