The Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, Hon. Lawal Barau, was among the entourage of His Excellency, Governor Dauda Lawal, during an inspection visit to the Dansadau Road Project.
During the visit, Hon. Lawal Barau assured the Governor of the Ministry’s commitment to ensuring the timely execution of the project in line with the required standards.
He informed the Governor that the contractor, Dantata and Sawoe Construction Company, has reaffirmed its readiness to deliver the project within the agreed timeframe.
According to the Commissioner, the company has assured the Ministry that it will relocate additional equipment and machinery to the project site to accelerate the pace of work and ensure steady progress.
Hon. Lawal Barau further emphasized that the Ministry will continue to closely monitor the project to guarantee quality, efficiency, and adherence to contractual timelines, in line with the Governor’s vision for improved road infrastructure across the state.
