The National Integrated Sports of Nigeria founded by the former Super Eagle player’s, Tijjani Babangida has honoured the Chairman of Gwaram local government council of Jigawa state, Honourable Abdulkareem Musa Fagam, with the award of excellent.
The award titled “Good Governance and sSports Merit Award” have recently presented before the council delegation headed by the the council vice Chairman and his legislature’s,which revently held at Asaa Pyramid hotel in Kaduna.
In his remarked while presenting award to the Council Chairman, the Director sports Kaduna state ministry of youth and sports development, Alhaji Kabiru Zakari, said “the award given to honourable Chairman, is a challenge to the stockholders in sports industry in northern Nigeria.
Despite Kaduna rated with high number of sports loving industries, it’s not worthy for the Chairman of Gwaram to won the most prestigious award in northern Nigeria, compared with role he played and efforts rendered toward the development of youth and sports.
He however congratulated the council Chairman for his honoured this great important award, he succeed by secured the best among the best, hoping for him to do much more commitment and contributions.
In his acceptance speech, the Chairman Gwaram local government council, Honourable Abdulkareem Musa Fagam, represented by the council vice Chairman, Honourable Nasuru Zubairu Sara, hails the sports organisation body for their gestured in recognising our political mentor.
It’s wouldn’t surprised for him to clinched winner amongst the nominees, considered his tremendous efforts and commitment given to youths especially in sports industry in Jigawa state, Nigeria atlerge.
“he deserved the award because of his zeal and commitment towards the development of youths initiatives especially in sports industry.”
In his award recommendations speech, the president NISON, Aminu K Shaibu, “emphasized that Honourable Abdukareem honoured is based on merits, and achievement recorded during just concluded under eighteen ninneteen northern states tournament holds in Kaduna.
And successful qualification for four Gwaram local government indigenous player’s selected from scouting to play in European football clubs.
Also speaking, the Kaduna state Football Association board member, Honourable Bashir Tukur, said ” the youths engagement in sporting activities its woefully reduced the rate of their onvolvement in criminals activities.
