Zamfara State Commissioner for Commerce and Industries Showcases Investment Opportunities at the Kano International Trade Fair
The Honourable Commissioner of Commerce and Industries, Zamfara State, has successfully participated in the Kano International Trade Fair, where he showcased the state’s vast economic potential and called on both local and foreign investors to explore the numerous opportunities available in Zamfara.
Representing the State Government, the Commissioner highlighted key sectors with high investment prospects, including solid minerals, agriculture, livestock development, small and medium enterprises, tourism, and the emerging industrial corridor. He also outlined the government’s commitment under Governor Dauda Lawal’s administration to creating an enabling environment through improved security, infrastructure upgrades, and investor-friendly policies.
During his address, the Commissioner emphasized that Zamfara is blessed with abundant natural resources such as gold, granite, agricultural produce, and fertile land making the state a prime destination for meaningful investment. He noted that the government is open to partnerships that will stimulate economic growth, create jobs, and improve the wellbeing of the citizens.
He further commended the organizers of the Kano International Trade Fair for providing a platform that promotes regional economic integration and enhances business networking across Nigeria and beyond.
The Commissioner reaffirmed Zamfara State’s readiness to work closely with investors and development partners to unlock the state’s full economic potential.
