The Senator representing Zamfara central senatorial district, Honourable Ikra Aliyu Bilbis has facilitated the released of Forty one Zamfara state indigenes prison at Ibadan correction service Oyo state.
Also donated Two hundreds thousands naira and one bag of Maize to each of the Forty one released victims for them to established businesses for selves reliance.
The donations was handed over to each of the free prisoners during the recognition ceremony, held at College of health technology Tsafe in Zamfara state.
Speaking during the programme, the Zamfara state governor Dauda Lawal, represented by the Zamfara state PDP Chairman, Dr Jamilu Jibo Magayaki, has saluted Senator Ikra for the role played during the establishment of College of health technology in Tsafe.
Recently made efforts on establishing the federal university of science and technology also in Tsafe.
He however appeals to the peoples of Zamfara state to continued given the PDP government support and cooperation for it’s efforts in providing dividends of democracy ever enjoys in the state.
In his addressed, the former minister of communication,, thanked president Bola Ahmad Tinubu for his commitment in approving the and pardoned the prisoners as requested from mmhis office.
He however commended governor Lawal for his tremendous assistant given from beginning to the end of the struggled.
The former Chairman Tsafe local government, further pleased the victims of the tragedy to bearer with the will of God destined,
He also narrated how it’s happened to him when spent sixteen days on prison, due to political differences before the 2023 general elections campaigned which I was the coordinator governor Lawal campaigned.
Speaking on behalf of the prisoners victims, Zaharaddeen Bature Tsafe, thanked the governor Lawal and Senator Ikra Aliyu for their sacrifices and commitment towards the success of our released.
He prayed God Almighty to reward them abundantly.
