As part of the Zamfara State Government’s commitment to quality service delivery, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, Engr. Haruna Dikko, has embarked on intensified monitoring of key infrastructure projects within Gusau, the state capital.
Guided by the Honourable Commissioner, Hon. Lawal Barau Bungudu, the Ministry conducted a series of inspection visits to ongoing projects across Gusau metropolis.
Among the projects visited was the Yar-Dole Jumu’at Mosque, where emphasis was placed on strict compliance with quality standards, adherence to budgetary provisions, and timely completion. The inspection team also visited the Parks and Garden construction site, assessing the level of progress and ensuring alignment with project specifications.
In a related development, officials of the Ministry, in collaboration with the Nigerian Association of Technologists in Engineering (NATE), paid a courtesy visit to the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), Gusau Area Office. The meeting with TCN management focused on exploring areas of partnership aimed at enhancing energy sufficiency across Zamfara State.
These engagements underscore the Ministry’s unwavering determination to deliver qualitative infrastructure projects that will not only meet present needs but also drive socio-economic growth and sustainable development for the people of Zamfara State.
