The executive governor of jigawa state Mallam Umar A Namadi FCA on Tuesday 29th July 2025 at Dutse sport complex launched 36 assorted vehicle’s to members of (NURTW) National union of road transport workers Jigawa state council in other to ease transportation problems in the state.
The Governor called on the memebers to make proper use of the vehicles and assist commuters in the state so as to boast the state economy. He assured that the state government would continue to partner with the union so as to enhance transportation in the state.Mallam Umar A Namadi FCA applauded the (NURTW) National leadership for gracing the launching. He therefore for opined that the jigawa state government is proud and appreciative for laudable contribution of the union towards Jigawa state government.
The Deputy president comrade Alh Isa Aliyu ore who represented the National president Alh. Musuliyu Akinsaya Oluomo MC commended the Governor for his kind gesture towards the union members in the state.
He also applauded the Governor for his numerous humanitarian and developmental programs in the state especially in the areas of roads across the state.
Comrade Alh. Isa Aliyu Ore assured that the union would continue to support the state in its development programs. He called on members in the state to make proper use of the vehicles and continue to cooperate with the government.
Governor Mallam Umar A Namadi FCA was presented with an award of Excellence by NURTW jigawa council. The award was presented to the governor by the Deputy president Comrade Alh. Isa Aliyu Ore at the occasion.
Earlier the National delegation paid courtesy call to Governor Mallam Umar Namadi FCA at government house Dutse the state Capital among the delegation were the Vice president Aliyu Tanimu, National Auditor Abdulaziz Yawale, Suleiman A Danzaki Adviser to the president and Chairman Katsina state council and host of others .
In his the vote of thanks the council chairman Alh. Salisu Mohammad appreciated and thank the Governor for the support to the union. He equally thanked the National leadership for gracing the occasion. He assured that the union would continue to support the government towards its giant strides in the state.
