The zamfara state government has concluded all necessary arrangements to recruit 2000 science base teachers across all schools in the state.
This was disclosed by the executive chairman of zamfara state teachers service board Muhammad Aliyu Anka while responding to sacking of over 100 contract teachers of the board.
He said, the contract teachers were relieved of their position because most of them their contact has expired since 2021 with out making any effort to renew but are still collecting salaries.
He further said most of them don’t to go school due to banditry in their area of jurisdiction as such the government decided to relieve them of their position to give room for new recruitment of young fresh graduates.
He further explain that the new recruitment exercise would be done within the indigene of the area where the school is located to avoid abscondement or absenteeism due to lack of vaccomodations or transport money.
He said the recruitment is to bridge the gap that might have been created by the sacking of the contract teachers.He said all necessary incentives would be provided for the new teachers to enable them be dedicated to their jobs to accomplish the rescue mission of present administration of Governor Dauda Lawal.
Muhammad Aliyu further said when the need arise to reengage some of those sack they would be recall.
