The state coordinator of the programme Hajiya sadiya Bello disclosed this during her tour to all the Local governments and Emirate councils in the state
Hajiya sadiya stated that the Geep programme was introduced in line with the Rescue mission agenda of the present administration, She disclosed that, under the arrangements contain in the programme three thousands beneficiaries will be engaged in different skills and supported after their training in each local government area in the state and Gusau having six thousands being the most populous and equally the state capital
The coordinator further disclosed that, the activities under the programme are designed to equip targeted beneficiaries with the basic skills to transform them into wealth creators and job providers.
The state coordinator during the tour engaged with Sole administrators, the emirs , Business communities, women associations, civil society organizations, Religious leaders whom are expected to play a vital roles towards the success of the programme.
Application forms were distributed through the local government and Emirates councils for prospective beneficiaries to fill and charged the councils to be just and fair .
