The Zamfara state commissioner for budget and economic planning Hon. Abdulmalik Gajam has been rejected by the members of the state house of Assembly for not honoring invitations during budget defense few minutes to the formal presentation of the 2024 appropriation by the state governor Dr Dauda Lawal.
The house after deliveration had unanimously agreed that the confirmation letter served to the commissioner has been withdrawn with immediate effect by the members of the state assembly.
According to them, they invited the commissioner three times to the state assembly for his ministry budget defense but ignored their invitation without genuine reasons.
At the end, the commissioner was asked to get out of the state assembly chamber .
