Northwest zone of All Progressive Congress (APC) group, Tinubu/Shatima network (TSN) has endorsed Senator Abdul’ azeez Yari Abubakar as the 10th Senate president of Federal republic of Nigeria.
The endorsement was made by the national chairman of TSN Alhaji Abubakar Mohammed Kailani, at press conference organised by the group held at Butterfly hotel in Kaduna.
According to the chairman, ‘we decided to rally here in Kaduna to show our support and solidarity, because of his outstanding economic development performance, his masses oriented programmes, open policy and support for the party”.
Also it is proved that “Senator Abdul azeez Yari’s competency, capability and committiment to humanity, is an astute as human and material resources manager”
“It’s no doubt that Senator Yari’s pedigrees and tested capacity will make impact positively for the quality legislation of the 10th Senate, will also improve the spiral for national cohesion and development of a renewed national template for the general socio-economic and political evolution of our dear country Nigeria.
Engr. Kailani however noted that,” considering the fact that the north west geo political zone has given the highest votes of 2,700.000 to APC in the just concluded presidential election “It’s expedient in the face of Justice, equity and farness, that the 10th Senate presidency, should be zoned to north west,and by extension to Senator Yari being the most qualified from the zone.
The group also viewed that the clamour by some individuals to favour the south-east zone who barely gave about 400,000 votes to APC, should be discarded.
Speaking with the newsmen, the national director inter party for Tinubu/Shatima network (TSN) Hon. Hajiya Kulu mohammed Tahir Kaura, commended the TSN chairman Kailani and members for their resolution to support Senator Abdul azeez Yari as Senate president.
Its a good effort to support someone that I witnessed his developmental projects especially for the women, who enjoyed skills acquisition, in addition to assistance he provided to the widows and less previlledges people in zamfara state.
She however called on all the good people of zamfara state to come out massively to show support and solidarity,and also pray for his success, because his success is their success.
Also speaking with our reporter during the event, the deputy director voter education TSN, Haulat Abdul, who described Senator Yari as one who deserved the job, also a partner in progress.
“I’m really convinced with his characters, discipline and experience that’s fit the position except Senator Abdul azeez Yari, with the support of our vibrant and exceptional leader Engr. Abubakar Mohammed Kailani he would make it.
