Senator Kabir Marafa who represented Zamfara central senatorial district twice at the National Assembly has congratulated his political opponent, Alhaji Iqra Aliyu Bilbis who won the election under the platform of the People Democratic Party,(PDP).
The defeated Senator who addressed his supporters on the outcome of the election thanked them for the tremendous support and encouragement they gave him during the campaign struggle. He admitted that winners and losers were bound to emerge in any political competition.
Sen. Marafa disclosed that after careful consideration with party supporters, they will not take legal action against the declared results. He therefore wished the Senator-elect happy and prosperous represention at the National Assembly for the benefit of the electorate in the senatorial district.
