The publicity director of Governor Bello Matawalle campaign council,Alhaji Ibrahim Danmaliki has reiterated the determination of the campaign council to prevent political thugs from carrying any dangerous weapon through out the campaign period.
Alhaji Ibrahim Danmaliki disclosed this during a pre-campaign flag off press briefing on the preparations made against tomorrow at Kaura Namoda in Zamfara North senatorial district in Gusau
He said all arrangements has been concluded for the flagging of the campaign.
He further said anti thuggery and security agencies have been informed to arrest and prosecute anyone caught carrying weapons during the campaign as A PC would not tolerate such behavior and also to check thuggery activities during and after the campaigns.
Alhaji Ibrahim Danmaliki stated that various committees were set up to handle all aspects of the campaign to ensure that everything goes smoothly and according to plan.
He expressed confidence that APC is going to win the election in the state for all its candidates,he said the campaign would be first conducted in the senatorial districts of the state before moving to all the local governments areas of the state.
He called on the journalists to support and ensure adequate and factual report through out the campaign as they would be carried along.
He called on the people of the state to continue to support APC as the ruling party in Zamfara and the country in general.
